      High in the heaven
      A gold star burns
      Lighting our way
      As the great world turns.

      Silver the frost
      It shines on the stem
      As we now journey
      To Bethlehem.

      White is the ice
      At our feet as we tread,
      Pointing a path
      To the manger-bed.
